Chef Anjelica is from St. Simons Island, Georgia. She learned how to prepare healing foods from her maternal grandmother at a young age. She always used herbs from her garden to treat herself and her family. At the young age of eight, Anjelica started taking an interest in cooking. Later joining the US Army, it gave her the opportunity to travel to many countries and indulged in various international cuisines. While medically retiring in 2015, she then actively pursued her career as a culinary professional. She is passionate about preparing healing foods that cure, getting back to her islander culture.
Chef Anjelica is a graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta with a Bachelor's degree in International Culinary Art Management. While in school she enhanced her studies by apprenticing under celebrity Chef Ahki of Delicious Indigenous™️. She plans on continuing school to receive her Masters of Science in nutrition to become a registered dietitian nutritionist. Also a proud member of the American Culinary Federation Certified Culinarian.
